Planning of an exhaust gas climate chamber

On the exhaust gas vehicle roller dynamometer development and certification measurements are carried out at legally prescribed driving cycles for the determination of exhaust gas and consumption values

The measurements are carried out with the whole vehicle placed on a roller dynamometer. Constant climate conditions are necessary for the exhaust gas and development measurements.
Besides the measurements prescribed by the authorities test cycles for testing components and performance measurements under different climate conditions are carried through. The respective climate conditions must be simulated and must not exceed the specific limits.

Test room

The vehicle tests are carried out here on the roller dynamometer including an air stream fan. In addition, vehicles are parked so that they get the respective temperature before being tested.

Control room

The test stand is operated from the control room and the test results are evaluated there. The air conditioning of the room must be provided by the customer.

Analysis room

It contains the complete exhaust gas measuring technology (diesel tunnel, analysis cabinets, CVS tunnel)

Dew point range: -20 to 48°C
