Planning of a cold chamber multi roller dynamometer/cold safe

On the cold chamber multi roller dynamometer development and certification measurements are carried out for the determination of exhaust gas and consumption values

The measurements are carried out under different climate conditions and with the whole vehicle placed in a test chamber.

Test room

The vehicle tests are carried out here on the roller dynamometer including an air stream fan. In addition, vehicles are parked so that they get the respective temperature before being tested.

Control room

The test stand is operated from the control room and the test results are evaluated there. The air conditioning of the room must be provided by the customer.

Analysis room

It contains the complete exhaust gas measuring technology (diesel tunnel, analysis cabinets, CVS tunnel). Besides this, the same climate requirements as in the control room are to be considered.

Cold safe

6 vehicles can be placed in the cold safe for the conditioning. The vehicles can directly be transported from the cold safe to the cold chamber multi-functional roller dynamometer by means of a lifting system.

Humidity range: 10 to 95% r. F, ± 5%

Dew point range: -35 to +35°C
