Planning of a quattro altitude test chamber
Altitude simulation chamber for development and certification measurements
The measurements are carried out with the whole vehicle placed on a roller dynamometer. Constant climate conditions are necessary for the exhaust gas and development measurements.
Control room
In the control room (located inside the pressure chamber) the test stand is operated from and the test results are evaluated there.
Analysis room
This room contains the complete exhaust gas measuring technology (diesel tunnel, analysis cabinets, CVS tunnel).
Sluice
The sluice (placed within the pressure chamber) is access and exit to the pressure chamber. It generates the pressure equalization between the simulated altitude in the pressure chamber and the local ambient pressure.
