The vehicles are preconditioned in a conditioning parking space and transferred to the test chambers via a dry area

In the 15 conditioning spaces the vehicles are to be preconditioned to a set-point test temperature. According to the EU Directive 70/220 the max. permissible conditioning time is 6 hours. It must be taken into account that fully heated vehicles must be considered as thermal load.

In the dry area preconditioned vehicles are transferred for testing. Cold-conditioned vehicles in this area must be protected against the formation of ice and frost.

Conditioning box

15 vehicles are parked by means of a parking system and conditioned to a test temperature.

Vehicle transportation aisle

In the anteroom in front of the test chambers the vehicles are transferred from the parking spaces into the test chambers.

Technical features

Temperature range of conditioning box: -25 to +40°C, ± 1K

Dew point range of conditioning box: -27 to 35°C

Temperature range of dry area: +15 to +23°C, ± 1K

Dew point range of dry area: -27°C
